I direct this at no one here; I'm speaking in general terms.
I'm so tired of pulling up Facebook (or opening emails) and seeing "Bernie rocks! Hillary sucks!" or "Hillary rocks! Bernie sucks!". I'm even getting the "Democrats rock! Republicans suck!" (which i can't say i disagree with) and "Republicans rock! Democrats suck!"
Come on now. I don't care if you support Democrats, Republicans, Hillary, Bernie, Trump, or Mr. Potato head. Do you really think that the constant "your candidate sucks, and mine rules" is going to make me suddenly say "OMG, what was I thinking? I must change my support to X"? Because really, you're not selling your candidate to me. All I'm seeing is you can't tell me WHY your candidate is the best/mine is the worst, and well, you're an ass that can't respect that someone may have a differing opinion.
It doesn't matter who won the debate. It was the first one. You know what matters? Who wins the primary. And the real question is.....if your candidate doesn't win, are you going to support the nominee, or pout and not vote at all (I've seen plenty of "If my person doesn't get it, I'm not voting")? Because not voting is what loses us elections, not shitty candidates.
And to think we have a whole year to go. Oy vey. I might not make it.
